A motorcyclist and a pedestrian were taken to hospital after a collision in Eden Street yesterday afternoon.
The road was closed for an about an hour as crews from London Ambulance Service treated the pair at the scene close to McDonalds restaurant.
Both patients were conscious and neither is in a serious condition.
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 1pm to Eden Street, Kingston to reports of a road traffic collision.
“We sent two ambulance crews, two single responders and a cycle responder to the scene.
“We checked two people over at the scene and took them to hospital.”
Eyewitness Paul Gray said: “The pedestrian stepped out between two buses and into the path of the motorbike.
“An elderly lady, my friend and I helped the pair. Sadly, many others gawped and grabbed their camera phones.”
The accident was the second road traffic collision to occur in the town centre in four days.
A car knocked down a pedestrian at the junction of Kingston Hall Road and High Street last Friday.
Police are still appealing for any information regarding the incident that left one woman in a critical condition in hospital.
